Daniel and Maria Rodriguez Christmas Show - Sunday, 12/10/17 – 3:00pm

Daniel Rodriguez, the Brooklyn born, now retired police officer, helped bring the country an uplifting spirit of promise and hope with his stirring rendition of “God Bless America” after the 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attacks.  While singing was his passion from an early age, he joined the NYPD at age 30, where he became known as “The Singing Policeman”.  After arriving at the WTC site as a first responder, and nearly losing his own life, his music career turned into a calling.  Daniel has received many Awards and Medals because of his patriotic efforts, and “America’s Beloved Tenor” inspires charities and concert halls all over the world.  Maria Kavanaugh Rodriguez, is originally from New Zealand and has a twin sister Marissa.  They began their career at the tender age of 5 on stage.  Maria has performed in operatic rolls and as a guest soloist with symphonies all over the world and the United States.  She and her husband have recorded 4 albums together.  She is currently performing as a member of “The Highland Divas”.
